In St. Vincent there is a variety of culture shock. It ranges from the food, to the roads, to the climate. The food in St. Vincent consists of a lot of ground vegetables that most Canadians would not know what they are, such as a christophine, plantain and other roots vegetables. They also have mangos and coconuts that you can just take from trees. Another culture shock is that the roads are mostly not paved, but even the ones that are paved, are still very windy and difficult to drive on. Lastly, the climate is a major culture shock because most people are not used to 28o weather with a high humidity every day. There is no language culture shock because they speak English.
