Although there are no official travel warnings for St. Vincent there are still some recommendations. When travelling to St. Vincent, you should be cautious about a number of things:
Ø Moderate crime rates
Ø Poor health and medical care
Ø Lack of paved roads and safe driving conditions
Ø Unreliable public transportation
Ø Strong currents and undertow when swimming in the ocean(avoid by swimming with people, before dark and avoid the areas where signs are provided)
Ø Is a volcanic island and has a live volcano (although unlikely to erupt)
There is no Canadian Embassy in St. Vincent, but there is in a nearby island. Bridgetown, Barbados has a Canadian embassy.
